KVK West Siang Conducted Multi-disciplinary Training cum technology demonstration
Krishi Vigyan Kendra West Siang organized multi-disciplinary training cum technology demonstration at Disi Village on 11th December, 2015. Dr. Kangabam Suraj Singh SMS, Plant Protection gave power point presentation on “Important insect Pests and Diseases of winter vegetables and their management”. He emphasized on the control of soil borne pathogens by means of Mechanical, Cultural and Physical practices followed by botanical. And Miss Wangnem Rekhung Programme Assistant also spoke in details on “Importance of soil health card for soil fertity management and higher production”. She also highlighted importance of soil health card for improving soil health quality. In this training programme total 26 farmer women and men were participated. The participants were very happy and would take this technology in their own field and nursery bed.
